The mission
Andhra Pradesh has no shortage of engineering talent — what it lacked was a home for open source. Engineerudu is the state's first Free and Open Source Software community, built to give local developers a place to learn in public, contribute to real projects, and find each other.
What building it means
Community building is unglamorous open source: organizing people rather than code. The work spans growing membership, fostering a contribution culture among students and early-career engineers, and connecting local talent to the wider FOSS ecosystem.
